A memorial marker is a permanent tribute to the life of a person. There are many different kinds of grave markers available.
ENTOMBMENT
The casketted remains are placed in a mausoleum, an above ground structure the casket is placed in. The front of the structure is usually sealed, faced with marble or granite. Some mausoleums are buildings which have entombment spaces for a number of persons. Others are outside with protective shelter over them.
BURIAL AT SEA
Federal regulations state where bodies can be buried at sea.
